Maritime Search and Rescue Center in Lushunkou inaugurated

On July 19, the opening ceremony of the Maritime Search and Rescue Center in Lushunkou was held at the Maritime Office of Lushunkou, Dalian.

The construction and layout of the western waters of Dalian were presented in the law enforcement vessel, Sea Patrol 0302. In addition, the crew went over the SYTAR marine dynamic monitoring platform and the whole process of real-time monitoring and control of ships by CCTV, VHF, AIS and electronic charting with the participants.

Yi Qingtao, secretary of the District Party Committee of Lushunkou said that the establishment of the Maritime Search and Rescue Center in Lushunkou will help the relevant departments to deal with unexpected incidents on the water. The government will cooperate with the Maritime Department to ensure the safety of people's lives and property to better serve local economic development.

Ma Yiyi, director of the Dalian Marine Bureau, said that the Maritime Department will conscientiously perform the duties of maritime supervision, and hopes that the district government will give more assistance and cooperation to jointly maintain water security.

The participants also expressed their views on how to ensure the safety and stability of the Lushunkou area and speed up the development of the shipping economy.
