Lushunkou exhibits relics from Fuhao Tomb

More than 400 artifacts from a 3,200-year-old royal tomb in eastern central China’s Henan province were put on display in Lushunkou Museum on July 18.

Fuhao, wife of an emperor of the Yin Dynasty (c.16th century-11th century BC), was China's first female general.

The exhibition introduces visitors to the heroine’s legendary life, society during the Yin Dynasty, and other aspects of the development of China’s culture.

The exhibition is the fifth to mark the 100th anniversary of the Lushunkou Museum.

It is co-hosted by the Lushunkou Museum and the Institute of Archaeology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and will run to Oct 15.
