The output value of the automobile industry in Jinqiao contributed to half of that in Shanghai. And the output value of electronic information industry accounts for one third, with smart equipment occupying one fourth of the city’s whole.
The total revenue of the production-oriented service industry has surpassed that of manufacturing since 2014, forming two clusters of research and design firms in automobile, auto parts and electronic information. A total of 68 companies have based their headquarters in Jinqiao.
