A signing ceremony for a strategic cooperation agreement between Nanyang Municipal Public Security Bureau and the People's Public Security University of China (PPSUC) was held on July 28.
Zhu Haijun, director of Nanyang Municipal Public Security Bureau, welcomed a delegation headed by Cao Shuquan, president of PPSUC, and hailed the university as "the cradle of police officers of the People's Republic of China".
According to Zhu, Nanyang Municipal Public Security Bureau could lend great support to PPSUC to improve itself both in theory and in practice.
Nanyang is at the headstream of the middle line of the south-to-north water diversion project, which enjoys geological superiorities and good potential for development. The PPSUC will further deepen its cooperation with the bureau, endeavoring to set a good example for cooperation between universities and bureaus, Cao said.
On behalf of the PPSUC and Nanyang Municipal Public Security Bureau, Cao and Zhu signed the agreement, marking a milestone for the two sides to further cooperate in personnel training, scientific research, team construction and practical teaching.
