"Aside from offering team building activities and popular science education programs, we also provide space for outdoor weddings," said Zhang Bin, head of planning department in the park.

Cheng Yajuan, founder of the rose park, was born into a gardening family and when her father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's she decided to offer something enduring and special to senior citizens, especially patients.

Strange as it might sound, "Cinnamomum camphora" were some of the first words Cheng's father said after his health blip and this strengthened her idea of building a rose park.
