International Day Against Drug Abuse observed in Sanmenxia

Li Jie, chief of the local public security bureau, delivered a speech appealing for stricter regulations and control of drug abuse and trafficking.

Li called on everyone to shoulder the responsibility of fighting against narcotics and build a drug-free society, and urged young people in particular to stay away from narcotics.

"Cherish your life, stay away from drugs," Li emphasized.

A series of anti-drug activities, such as exhibitions, games, and manuals focusing on anti-narcotics information were also handed out to the local residents.
