Wuxi to add a film industry park

Wuxi's Taihu New City will add a film industry park providing 4-D film experiences and entertainment, as well as facilities for training film industry talent and platforms for equity investment in the film and TV industry.

A new film industry park will be built in Wuxi's Taihu New City.

Constructing the 160,000-square-meter park is estimated to cost 1 billion yuan ($146 million), with work set to begin late this year. It is expected to open in 2020.

The park will focus on providing 4-D film experiences and entertainment, as well as facilities for training film industry talent and platforms for equity investment in the film and TV industry.
