A new tourist center has been set up at Wudang Lamasery, one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city of Baotou, to provide more convenience for visitors, reports Baotou Evening News.

The center, of the same standard as tourist centers in 5A-level scenic spots in China, will provide tourists with services in areas including ticket sales, shopping, and medical care, and will deal with enquiries and complaints received from tourists.

Located in Shiguai district, Wudang Lamasery is on its way to becoming a national 5A-level scenic area. The lamasery has already passed the preliminary assessment conducted by the National Tourism Administration. Wudang Lamasery has attracted an investment of more than 300 million yuan over the past two years. Now the scenic area boasts infrastructure including tourist centers, roads, parking lots, and plazas.
