The Consulate General of the Netherlands in Guangzhou is to host the second edition of Dutch Design Talks at Fei Gallery on June 9, to promote mutual inspiration, opportunities and cooperation.

According to the organizer, Dutch design has a prestigious reputation in furniture, architecture, arts and fashions across the globe, for its simplicity and pragmatism.

In recent years, Dutch designers have been creating great works using recycled and sustainable resources.

During the talks, four Dutch and Chinese designers will give lectures on their works and their approaches as well as share insights on design and sustainable development.

First held in December 2016, the Dutch Design Talks program focuses on cross-overs between design and other fields of industry and helps seek new inspiration for designers.

The activity starts at 2pm on June 9 and is open to the public.
