Baotou event promotes reading

Scholars and students in Baotou were recently invited to a reading event held in the city, according to a bt.wenming.cn report.

The event, themed around “My Hometown”, was organized at Baotou Grand Theater by Qingshan district of Baotou.

Classic works by Chinese scholars and writers were performed at the event, including Yue Shi Gu Xiang Ming (Bright is the Moon over My Home Village) written by Ji Xianlin, a distinguished Chinese Indologist, linguist and writer who was honored by the governments of China and India.
