TV drama Teresa Teng to shoot in Pingtan

As the drama's major investor, HS Entertainment Group signed an agreement for the project with Pingtan Xihang Industrial Group on April 12.

According to the contract, the latter shall be responsible for the set construction on location in places around Longqian village in Aoqian town, Pingtan.

In a bid to truthfully reproduce Teresa Teng's former residence in Dongping county, Taiwan, and her living and working conditions in Japan and Southeast Asia, a raft of live-action props will be transported across the Taiwan Strait to Pingtan.

The plan is for the drama's sets to not be torn down after the shoot finishes, but preserved and used as a tourist attraction, providing Teresa Teng's fans from across the world with another destination where they can celebrate their icon's life.
