It is also the first time for Lai Zhaowei, a sophomore of Taiwan China University of Technology, to visit Pingtan, who said he was impressed by the city's friendly and polite people and convenient, more reliable transport system.
Other excellent participants include a team from Fujian Polytechnic of Information Technology, who has already won two gold medals in Tianjin, the major hosting city of this year's competition in north China.
"We have been preparing for the competition since last September and stood out of the 11 candidate teams in the province to compete in the national competition," introduced Chen Xuegeng, director of the school's office of teaching affairs.
"Information security is a key factor in ensuring the sound development of IT and other industries, so nurturing more talents with related knowledge might be a way to better safeguard the network’s safety," said Zhan Keqiang, leading teacher of the Fujian team.
