Yuyao to host China Robot Summit

The 4th China Robot Summit and Intellectual Economic Talent Summit, the largest and most influential event in robot industry in China, will take place in Yuyao, a county-level city of Ningbo, Zhejiang province from May 15 to 17.

This year, the robot summit will invite over 1,500 elite from more than ten countries and regions to carry out academic exchanges in this field against the background that the whole country is stressing the importance of intelligent manufacturing.

Confirmed guests include Kevin Kelly, founding executive editor of "Wired" magazine and author of the popular book "Out of Control: The New Biology of Machines, Social Systems, and the Economic World", Professor Mark Cutkosky, of Stanford's Department of Mechanical Engineering and academicians, like Tan Jianrong and Li Deyi, of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. These globally influential experts will share their advanced knowledge with participants and discuss the future development of the robot industry.

A think tank of 30 top professionals will be formed at the summit to provide ideas for future organization of the event and build a high land for exchanges and cooperation of industry insiders.

According to a news conference held in March, the summit is going to boost match-making between manufacturers and users which will be helpful for companies to promote sales and for users to know the latest products.
