Anping handicrafts exported to Europe and US

Handicrafts and decorations made by women in Anping county, Shenyang are being exported to Europe and America, in an effort by the county to lift residents out of poverty.

In recent years, Kangping county has established two handicraft workshops, which mainly organize local rural women to make holiday-themed crafts for European and American consumers.

Currently, over 230 women in Kangping county have joined the business, which helps them make 1,500 yuan ($218) to 2,000 per month, playing an important role in alleviating poverty.
