Apricot blossoms boost tourism in Baotou

Dayantan, a scenic area located in Tumd Right Banner, Baotou, attracted an estimated 120,000 tourists from the Hohhot-Baotou-Ordos city area in the month of April, Baotou Daily reported.
The apricot blossoms, now in full bloom, cover an area of 533 hectares and formed a strong contrast with the green hills in the area.
In order to incentivize the region’s tourism industry, a series of folk tours have been launched in addition to regular tourism routes in Dayantan. B&B stays have also been added to tour plans.
