Shenyang machine tools attract attention at CIMT

Nearly 1,600 leading companies in the machine tool manufacturing sector are gathering at the China International Exhibition Center to showcase their latest products in Beijing from April 17 to 22.

The biennial China International Machine Tool Show is currently taking place in Beijing. It is one of the four famous World International Machine Tool Exhibitions along with the EMO (European International Machine Tool Exhibition), IMTS (Chicago International Machine Tool Fair of America) and JIMTOF (Japan International Machine Tool Exhibition). CIMT brings together the most advanced and applicable machine tool products in the world.

The independently researched-and-developed machine tools and their related technologies of the Shenyang Machine Tool Group are attracting considerable attention from attendees.

The Shenyang-based machine tool manufacturing company has brought its i5 (industrialization, informatization, internet, intelligentialize and integration) intelligent machine tool products and automated flexible production lines to the show.

In addition, centered on the theme of “Moment Sharing”, Shenyang Machine Tool Group showcased several advanced machine tool manufacturing modes at the show, including three intelligent factory modes and an online customization mode.

“We used to provide products for customers, while now we provide a set of solutions” said Guan Xiyou, chairman of Shenyang Machine Tool Group.

“It is a transformation for Shenyang Machine Tool Group –– from a manufacturer to a product service provider,” Guan added.

On the opening day of the event, Shenyang Machine Tool Group signed strategic cooperation agreements with two of the world’s leading providers in the intelligent manufacturing sector to cooperate and develop their i5 intelligent machine tools.

Also on the same day, the Shenyang company reached agreements with four counties in Zhejiang, Anhui, Hubei and Jiansu to establish i5 intelligent machine tool manufacturing bases.
