9th Dalian (Lushun) Cherry Festival to open on Apr 21

The 9th Dalian (Lushun) Cherry Festival will open at the 203 Cherry Park in Lushun, south Dalian, on Apr 21, with the theme of “Romantic Cherries and Safe Journeys”.

20 themed events, including a series of cherry blossom body spa and health tours and green ecological experiences, will be launched during the festival. A mini concert, riding activity and “Cherry + Technology” parents-child campaign will also be part of the event.

During the festival, Lushunkou city plans to sign a strategic cooperation agreement with Beijing Mobike Technology, which will make Lushunkou the first model city in the operation and management of shared bikes in Northeast China.   

From May onwards, Baiyu Mountain Scenery Area, Dongjiguan Mountain Scenery Area, 203 Scenic Area (except Dalian Cherry Festival period) and Naval Port Park belong to Dalian Lushun Tourism Group will open for free to visitors with a valid ID.  

The festival is co-hosted by Dalian Tourism Administration and Lushunkou government.
