Conference debates water management in Baotou

A conference held in Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Mar 14, highlighted plans concerning water management in the city for 2017.

Achievements made during 2016 in water management were also discussed at the conference.

Ren Fu, vice-mayor of Baotou, promised that Baotou would strive to ensure residents' access to clean and safe drinking water in 2017. Ren also claimed that water infrastructure will be upgraded in rural areas and that more emphasis will be placed on water resource management.
