Shenyang enacts measures to improve tourism services

Shenyang recently enacted several measures to improve the city’s tourism services, according to the Shenyang municipal tourism commission on Feb 27.

The first measure it will take is to simplify the examination and approval procedures for the city’s travel agencies, shortening the approval time from 20 days to five days.

The second measure is to address tourists’ complaints about sub-standard services and arbitrary charges at scenic spots. It will approach these problems from five aspects, including providing full WiFi coverage at scenic spots, better management, improvement of tour guiding and transportation services, as well as price regulation at scenic spots.

Meanwhile, Shenyang will create a better tourism environment by establishing a tourism service platform, a tourism service center, and supportive tourism facilities.
