In December, the Chinese foreign exchange market (excluding foreign currency pairs, the same below) recorded total transaction of 15.56 trillion yuan (equivalent to USD 2.25 trillion). Specifically, the transaction volume of the bank to customer market was 2.39 trillion yuan (equivalent to USD 345.7 billion), the transaction volume of interbank market was 13.16 trillion yuan (equivalent to USD 1.9 trillion), the cumulative transaction volume of the spot market was 7.18 trillion yuan (equivalent to USD 1.04 trillion), and that of the derivatives market was 8.38 trillion yuan (equivalent to USD 1.21 trillion).
In November, the Chinese foreign exchange market recorded total transaction of 15.89 trillion yuan (equivalent to USD 2.32 trillion). In October, the Chinese foreign exchange market recorded total transaction of 10.99 trillion yuan (equivalent to USD 1.63 trillion).
In September, the Chinese foreign exchange market recorded total transaction of 11.69 trillion yuan (equivalent to USD 1.75 trillion). In August, the Chinese foreign exchange market recorded total transaction of 11.84 trillion yuan (equivalent to USD 1.78 trillion). In July, the Chinese foreign exchange market recorded total transaction of 11.09 trillion yuan (equivalent to USD 1.66 trillion).
In June, the Chinese foreign exchange market recorded total transaction of 10.54 trillion yuan (equivalent to USD 1.60 trillion). In May, the Chinese foreign exchange market recorded total transaction of 10.15 trillion yuan (equivalent to USD 1.55 trillion). In April, the Chinese foreign exchange market recorded total transaction of 9.79 trillion yuan (equivalent to USD 1.51 trillion).
In March, the Chinese foreign exchange market recorded total transaction of 10.71 trillion yuan (equivalent to USD 1.65 trillion). In February, the Chinese foreign exchange market recorded total transaction of 6.55 trillion yuan (equivalent to USD 1 trillion). In January, the Chinese foreign exchange market recorded total transaction of 10.39 trillion yuan (equivalent to USD 1.59 trillion).
