Heilongjiang province held a symposium on international scientific collaboration at the Heilongjiang Science and Technology Building on Jan 18, 2017.
Leaders from a total of 15 national-level science and technology cooperation bases attended the symposium.
Zhang Changbin, deputy director of the Heilongjiang Science and Technology Bureau, made a speech at the symposium.
Zhang noted that we should attach great importance to international scientific collaboration. He urged all scientific bases to adjust to the current situation and think of new ways to contribute more to the development of Heilongjiang province.
He encouraged further scientific cooperation with central and eastern European countries.
At the symposium, many cooperation base leaders gave brief introductions on their institutions. They shared their experiences, plans, and problems at the event.
They all expressed their thanks for the support provided by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) and the Heilongjiang Science and Technology Bureau.
They all displayed their eagerness to contribute more to the economic development of the province.
International scientific cooperation bases refer to the MOST-recognized institutions that have made great achievements and have great development potential in international scientific cooperation. These bases include scientific parks, science and research institutions, and innovative businesses.
