Jinan stages culture, tourism feast in summer

Jinan is set to host over 300 cultural and tourism events covering five sectors, such as trendy nightlife, countryside experience, art performances, mountain resorts, and joyful parent-child activities, with the aim to drive economic consumption during the summer holiday, according to a news conference held on July 14.

Various levels of nighttime cultural and tourism consumption areas in Jinan have also planned and launched a series of themed activities, providing visitors with a round-the-clock experience of fun and exploration.

For example, Jinan Sunac Resort has launched theme activities, Jinan Fangte Oriental Heritage will perform 72 times during the summer holiday, and commercial complexes in the city will hold various festivals like beer festivals and snack festivals to add more vitality to the nightlife.

Areas like the southern mountainous area, Zhangqiu, Laiwu, and Changqing, which boast abundant natural resources, have become popular destinations for visitors to enjoy the summer. For example, Jiuru Mountain Scenic Area has planned to hold a music camping festival, and the Jinan Wild World has promoted summer night carnival activities.

Nearly 50 Peking Opera, Lyuju Opera, and acrobatic troupe performances, as well as nearly 80 films, have been scheduled to be staged during the summer holiday to meet people's diverse needs for a cultural experience.
