Shenyang Palace Museum, located in the center of Shenyang city, is a former imperial palace from the early Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). It was firstly built in 1625, and since the end of the monarchy in China, the palace has been converted into a museum.

In 2004, Shenyang Palace was included on the UNESCO World Heritage List as an extension of the Imperial Palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties, or the Forbidden City in Beijing, and was listed as a national 4A tourist attraction in 2001.

Opening Hours: 8:30 am–5:30 pm (April 10–Oct 10), 9:00 am–4:30 pm (Oct 11–April 9)

Closed every Monday morning, open from 1 pm (Besides national holidays and during July and August)
