In 2015, the business revenue of hotels and catering services in China reached 851.22 billion yuan($136.67 billion). Of this total, the business revenue of meals from hotels and catering services totaled 570.95 billion yuan, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
The number of corporation enterprises in the hotels and catering services sector reached 44,884 in 2015, official data showed.
