The dance drama A Thousand Sails on Great Waves premiered on Monday in Beihai, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. Set against the construction of Dalang Port during the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 24), the production tells a moving story of a father and son — two generations of craftsmen — who built the harbor and shaped a maritime legacy.
