The exhibition Echoes of the Silk Road China in Porcelain: Dunhuang in Glazes is now on view at the Jiangxi Art Museum. Here, the beauty of Dunhuang murals is reborn within the microcosm of canvas-like porcelain.
Through reinterpretation and creative transformation, Dunhuang art is translated into diverse ceramic forms — where two artistic languages that span over one millennium finally meet. The result is a dazzling feast of color, craftsmanship, and cultural fusion.
