A first for the Palace Museum: Banning smoking completely
As of May 18, 2013, the Palace Museum banned smoking everywhere – indoors and outdoors, in visitor areas and staff zones alike, becoming a completely smoke-free zone. This historic move aimed to eliminate fire risks and protect the priceless heritage architecture within its walls, striving to build a smoke-free and safe museum together.
