Do you want to explore Beijing's earliest history? The Capital Museum's new exhibition on the Liulihe site in Fangshan district is the perfect place to start.

The Liulihe site, a vassal state site from the Western Zhou Dynasty (c. 11th century-771 BC), is the largest and most richly endowed of its kind ever excavated in China. Liulihe has been under continuous archaeological excavation for over 60 years. The finds are breathtaking — countless exquisite treasures bringing ancient Beijing to life. Step back more than 3,000 years and discover the roots of the city we know today.

Dates: Until Nov 28
