An exhibition tracing Jilin's history from the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) to the founding of New China, hosted by Jilin Provincial Museum, opened on Aug 19 in Changchun at the Beijing Dajie West Historical and Cultural Block. With the theme of "Remembering the Past, Creating the Future", the exhibition reviews the hardships and triumphs on this borderland, while honoring the perseverance, unity, and strength of Jilin's people across generations.
