Today, Xuzhou Museum in Jiangsu province unveiled a special exhibition on the art of the Yungang Grottoes, showcasing exquisite artifacts and 3D reconstructions of Buddhist sculptures.
The Yungang Grottoes, large royal Buddhist cave temples of the Northern Wei Dynasty (386-534), reflect not only breathtaking craftsmanship but also the dynamic fusion of ethnic cultures and civilizations more than 1,500 years ago.
