Island Winds

As a child, she wrote her longing for song on the shore. Tides rose and fell, waves swallowing her words—yet their echoes of freedom took root deep within. Years later, stardust from the stage upon her shoulders, she returns to this coast. When sea winds rise once more, she meets her childhood self: that girl who closed her eyes to listen to the waves, who breathed deeply before each performance, now stands beside her.

As ocean currents stitch together time, past timidity merges with present resolve. From cresting waves, a silent vow rises:
"When you look back, I’m loving you."

This is no tale of fame, but a lifelong embrace with one’s own soul. However far you journey, love and courage wait like islands behind you—unmoved, luminous, keeping watch in the gathering dusk.
