Beijing exhibition witnesses reunion of Fu Hao owl-shaped zun vessels

After 50 years apart, the two Fu Hao owl-shaped bronze zun vessels have been reunited – and are now on view at the Grand Canal Museum of Beijing. The two bronzes are among the must-see items at This is the Shang, the largest exhibition on Shang Dynasty (c.16th century-11th century BC) civilization in recent years.

The exhibition brings together 338 cultural relics from 28 archaeological and cultural institutions, tracing the Shang royal lineage and shedding light on life, society, beliefs, and the profound role of the Shang in the origins of Chinese civilization.
