The Grand Song: Dreaming of Bianjing is a large-scale water show presented by Kaifeng's Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, a major Song Dynasty (960-1279) cultural theme park in Central China’s Henan province. This spectacular live performance offers an immersive portrayal of the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127) at its height, bringing to life scenes from the famous painting Life Along the Bian River During the Qingming Festival and the historical record Dreams of Splendor of the Eastern Capital.
Divided into six acts and four main scenes, the show draws inspiration from eight classic Song Dynasty poems, using their poetic imagery to depict the grandeur of the Northern Song capital, Bianjing (modern-day Kaifeng).
