On May 18, during the 2025 International Museum Day celebrations in Jilin province, a Western Jin Dynasty (265-316) gold seal with a horse-shaped knob (handle), inscribed with "Jin Gaogouli Guiyi Hou" (Returning to Allegiance Marquis of the Goguryeo under the Jin Dynasty), was officially donated to the Ji'an Museum in Jilin's Tonghua by a generous individual. Issued more than 1,700 years ago, this gold seal was conferred upon an official of the ancient Goguryeo regime as an acknowledgement of its subordination to the central authority of the Jin court.

At the China Guardian Hong Kong 2025 Spring Auction, it was sold for HK$ 10.8 million (US$1.38 million) and has now returned to its rightful home.
