The largest exhibition of Western oil paintings in Hubei in the past five years is now open at Hubei Provincial Museum. A Flowing Palette: From Corot to Impressionism features 66 original masterpieces on loan from the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Reims in France. Highlighting the evolution of French landscape painting – from the Barbizon School to Impressionism and Post-Impressionism, the exhibition invites visitors to reflect on the relationship between humans and nature.
