World Horticultural Expo Garden, Kunming
As the only complete and well-preserved World Expo site worldwide, Kunming World Horticultural Expo Garden is located in the Jindian Scenic Area, 4 kilometers from downtown Kunming, Yunnan province.
The garden covers an area of 218 hectares and is currently home to 2,551 different kinds of plants with 76.7 percent vegetation coverage, including 112 species of rare plants.
The expo park includes five pavilions, seven special exhibition areas, 34 domestic exhibition gardens and 33 international exhibition gardens. Daffodils, lavenders, peonies, peach blossoms, sweet-scented osmanthus, lotus plants and chrysanthemums can all be found there.
