First Changchun Beijing West Theater Festival a big success

The Changchun Beijing Street West Historical and Cultural Block in Changchun, Jilin province, welcomed hundreds of thousands of visitors for the inaugural Changchun Beijing West Theater Festival over the May Day holiday.

Featuring 26 historic buildings, 50 parade performances, four art exhibitions, 20 street art shows, and 15 traditional theater performances, the area welcomed over 570,000 visitors and garnered nearly 600 million views across all platforms—showcasing both Changchun’s rich heritage and its vibrant cultural renewal.
