The epic live-action audio-visual immersive feast Moonlight Over Wuyi premiered in Wuyishan, Fujian province, on April 17, opening the 2025 Fujian Cultural and Tourism Economy Development Conference. Blending Zhu Xi (1130-1200) culture with music, dance, opera, and cutting-edge technology, the show brought to life Fujian’s rich heritage and Wuyi’s scenic beauty—offering audiences a breathtaking fusion of tradition and innovation.
Zhu Xi (aka Zhu Zi) was a prominent figure of the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279), known for his contributions as a philosopher, historian and statesman.
