Spring at Nanjing’s Xuanwu Lake

Located in the heart of Nanjing, Jiangsu province, Xuanwu Lake is stunning in spring. Surrounded by Zijin Mountain, the Ming City Wall, Jilong Mountain, and the Nanjing Station, it’s known as the “Pearl of Nanjing”. Once an imperial garden and Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) archive site, the scenic area features five islets, a park and a lakeside walkway.
