The Guanzhai Mountain scenic spot, formerly known as East Field Stone during the Song Dynasty (960-1279) and Lianfeng Mountain in the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368), is situated in the eastern suburbs of Liancheng county, Fujian province, is the southwestern part of Wuyi Mountain. Renowned for its distinctive natural scenery, the area is characterized by Danxia landforms, karst landscapes, and remnants of geological disasters, offering stunning and dramatic vistas.

At the summit of Guanzhai Mountain rise the main peaks Lingzhi Peak and Five Old Peak. Lingzhi Peak, the highest of the two at 660.8 meters, is named for its striking resemblance to a millennium-old Lingzhi mushroom.

Adjacent to Lingzhi Peak is Five Old Peak, situated at the southeast corner. Despite the challenging ascent along the steep and rugged path, there was a vast expanse of the summit of the peak, spacious enough to host hundreds of people.

One-Line Sky is a natural crevice between Five Old Peak and Lingzhi Peak, with steep cliffs.

Guanzhai Mountain is renowned for its rich cultural heritage, especially its historic academies. On the western slope of Lingzhi Peak stands the Yangzhi Pavilion, a three-story, circular octagonal study hall. The philosopher Luo Congyan (1072–1135) once delivered lectures here, leaving a lasting influence on the study of Minnan culture.
In addition, numerous literati and poets are inspired by the scenery here to write thousands of poems and prose and offer a valuable reference for studying the former appearance of Guanzhai Mountain.
