Winter sports heat up in 'Ice City'

As the 9th Asian Winter Games Harbin 2025 approaches, Franco Ascani, president of the Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs, shared why he believes Harbin could become a world-class winter sports hub in a recent interview with China Daily.

Ascani emphasized that hosting major international sports events not only provides host cities significant economic benefits, but also enhances their global image.

He also highlighted the importance of fostering international cooperation and strengthening the local community's sense of belonging through the Games.
