This bronze handled you (wine container), dating to the late Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC), consists of two parts – a body and a lid – both adorned with square-spiral patterns as the basic design. Its surface is further embellished with embossed coiled snake and frog motifs, showcasing exceptional regional characteristics.

Unearthed in 1986 in Xiangtan, Hunan province, the vessel's thin casting and intricate decorations highlight the remarkable skill of its creators. Collection: National Museum of China.
