Nestled at the foot of Jinhua Mountain in East China's Zhejiang province, the Jinhua Shuanglong Scenic Area is nationally known for its karst landforms and cave spectacles.

It is a national park of China and a national forest park, comprising six main scenic spots: Shuanglong Cave, Huang Tai Sin, Jianfeng Mountain, Dapantian, Chisong Mountain, and Jiayuanli.

The scenic area boasts a diverse range of karst landscapes and cave groups. Visitors can see two stalactites in the shape of dragon heads at Shuanglong Cave and appreciate the wonderful cave waterfall at Curling Cave.

The Dapantian area features more than 10 mountains at an altitude of over 1,000 meters, making it a popular summer resort with the reputation of being the "cool capital of East China".

Beyond its natural wonders, the area is steeped in rich cultural heritage. The Shangshan Site, recognized as the birthplace of the world's rice civilization, lies at the north foot of Jinhua Mountain.

It is also home to the legendary tales of Huang Daxian (c.328-386) — a national intangible cultural heritage item — and the Juyan tea production technique, inscribed on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Over 2,000 literary works and inscriptions have been left within the scenic area by renowned ancient literati like Li Bai, Wang Anshi, and Su Shi. Ancient cultural sites, such as the Lutian Academy and the Jinhua Temple, add to the historical and cultural charm of Jinhua Shuanglong Scenic Area.
