Longing for blooming flowers in cold winter? Ancient artisans had the perfect solution: capturing an entire year's flowers in a single vase. This Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) cloisonné enamel vase, known as "Hundred Flowers Vase", is filled with eternal blooms.
It was crafted by shaping intricate floral patterns onto its porcelain body, then filling them with yellow, red and green enamel. After firing, the result is a vivid and timeless display of colors that can endure for centuries without fading. Collection: Datong Museum.
