Have you ever seen a ring like this? This dazzling gold ring, dating to the Northern Wei Dynasty (386-534), is adorned with a proud ram, with raised head and curved horns. Animal masks embellish both sides of the ring, outlined with tiny gold beads. Turquoises are inlaid, adding a touch of luxury.
Unearthed in Meidai village, Tumd Right Banner, Baotou city, Inner Mongolia, the ring featuring prairie-style elements is now housed in the Inner Mongolia Museum.
