BMW has emphasized its pursuit of driving pleasure enhanced by cutting-edge technology and sustainability at the ongoing Guangzhou auto show.

The German carmaker said its Vehicle-to-Everything technology is scheduled to debut in January 2025 with the new BMW 5 Series produced in Shenyang, Liaoning province.

This technology offers advanced safety features like emergency braking warnings and intersection collision alerts, delivering real-time, over-the-horizon assistance that enhances driver confidence.

BMW's intelligent cockpit is tailored to the unique needs of Chinese drivers, integrating local apps like Tencent and QQ Music for enhanced usability.

The company's new BMW Operating System prioritizes seamless interaction, keeping advanced features unobtrusive through its "Shy Tech" philosophy.

The carmaker also revealed plans to unveil its next-generation digital cockpit at CES 2025, signifying its continued investment in digital transformation.

BMW reaffirmed its commitment to delivering unparalleled driving pleasure across its product lineup.

The fully electric BMW i5 eDrive40L features a range of 713 kilometers—the longest among BMW EVs—while the i5 xDrive50L offers sets a record for acceleration among domestically produced BMW models.

In addition, the high-performance BMW M lineup was expanded with the debut of the M235L, aimed at younger drivers seeking a dynamic and stylish driving experience.

As BMW looks ahead to its Neue Klasse era, with the first China-made Neue Klasse model set to debut in 2026, the company continues to push boundaries in electrification, digitalization, and sustainability, maintaining its legacy as a leader in luxury and innovation.
