After the introduction of the new equipment, the power consumption required for black pottery production increased significantly, and the existing power supply equipment could not meet the power demand. In response, the State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company took prompt actions to provide customers with one-stop service. It organized personnel to conduct on-site surveys and formulate capacity expansion construction plans in the initial stages, increased the intensity of safety hazard investigation and helped the intangible cultural heritage black pottery industry complete the transition from "firewood" to "electricity", not only improving production efficiency but also protecting the ecological environment.

"In the past, firewood was used to burn kilns during pottery production, which was labor-intensive and costly, not only with low yields, but also polluted the environment. Now we use electric kilns, which not only have high production capacity, low cost and more refined finished products, but also reduces greenhouse gas emissions," Wang Liangliang said.
