A group of over 20 artists from home and abroad embarked on the "Canal Chic: Reviving China's Heritage" tour on Wednesday in Luoyang, Central China's Henan province, to discover the rich cultural heritage of the Central Plains.
Jointly held by the China Daily website and local cyberspace administration authorities of Henan province, the event invited illustrators from China, as well as painters and designers from countries including Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Syria and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, to participate in exploring some Grand Canal cultural sites and museums in Luoyang.
