Discover the mysteries of the lacquered makeup box of Marquis of Haihun, an exquisite artifact from the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 24). Decorated with silver-edged trim, a black lacquer base and intricate red lacquer designs, it features cloud patterns, human figures, and rare and auspicious animals in gold and silver foil.
