Located in the heart of the Yangtze River Delta, the East Taihu Lake Ecological Tourism Resort has nearly 47 kilometers of shoreline.

On its way to becoming a national-level resort, it has focused on promoting and constructing key cultural and tourism projects, comprehensively enhancing tourism infrastructure and striving to create a world-class lakeside vacation destination in the Yangtze River Delta.

The resort has created a “premium showcase” for Jiangnan culture, building a comprehensive digital culture application system, establishing a concentrated area for cultural and tourism consumption and thoroughly researching a new “culture + tourism” model.

In recent years, the East Taihu Lake Resort has fully leveraged its rich green resources, with the East Taihu Lake Ecological Park, Suzhou Bay Sports Park, Shengdi Ecological Park and Ludang Lake Wetland Park – the lungs of the surrounding region – all now open to the public.

The first phase of the “most beautiful eight kilometers” of the Taipu River has already taken shape, the construction of the Grand Canal scenic belt is accelerating and the core area has achieved a greening rate of over 60 percent. The charm of the 50-kilometer scenic belt around Taihu Lake is increasingly evident, the influence of the “beautiful Suzhou bay” brand is expanding and the resort has become the most environmentally-friendly area of Suzhou.

It is now being developed into the most ecologically-attractive tourist resort around the Taihu Lake and the preferred waterfront leisure destination in the area.
